Breakfast Club

At Reignhead we offer a very popular Breakfast Club for all children from Reception up to Year 6. This is staffed by our Lunchtime Supervisors, Miss Parkes and Mrs Holden.

Breakfast Club runs from 8am – 8:40am every day. Children are able to choose from a wide range of breakfast items including fruit juice, toast, cereals, crumpets and beans. There are also a range of activities on offer such as: reading, board games, jigsaws, Lego and colouring. At the end of the session, pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are escorted by a member of staff to their classrooms.  Pupils in Years 3 to 6 make their way to their own classrooms independently.

As a school, we are committed to providing a Breakfast Club and evidence suggests that children who attend clubs such as ours benefit from improved attendance and punctuality as well as increased concentration during lessons. Breakfast Club also helps to develop children’s social skills and provides a valuable childcare service for working parents.

Breakfast Club costs £2.00 per child per day – this, we are sure you will agree, represents excellent value for money and includes both admission and breakfast.

All payments for Breakfast Club will need to be made through ParentPay. Breakfast Club is free of charge if you are entitled to income-related Free School Meals. If you think you may be entitled to income-related Free School Meals, please speak to a member of the office team. 

Breakfast Club bookings/payments must be made in advance. You can book your child’s place by emailing the school office at enquiries@reignhead.sheffield.sch.uk.  We recommend bookings are made at least a week in advance.
