Introducing our new Pupil Parliament for 2026- 2027

 Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to introduce the newly elected Pupil Parliament for this academic year.

At Reignhead Primary school, we believe in giving our children a powerful voice in their education and community. Our parliament provides a platform for students to experience democracy firsthand, take on genuine leadership roles, and drive positive change across the school.

Following a school-wide election process, we are proud to announce our new leadership structure:

The Year 6 Executive Committee

Leading the parliament this year is our Year 6 Executive Committee. This group oversees all student-led projects, chairs our full council meetings, and ensures that the student voice is heard at the highest level. This includes children who represent their house team, an Eco ambassador, a diversity ambassador and a healthy minds ambassador.

Year Group Representatives

To ensure every child is represented, pupils from Reception- Year 5 have elected class representatives. These students will gather feedback from their peers and bring ideas directly to the Executive Committee.

These children will come together over the half term to collect feedback from the classes on all different important topics to our school and support with events like fundraising in school, Parliament Week and many other amazing opportunities.

We are incredibly proud of all the children who put themselves forward for these roles, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact our new student leaders will make.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Wormleighton
