Food Bank Collection - non-uniform day28 September 2026 (by admin) |
Dear Parents and Carers,
The S20 Food Bank provides food parcels to individuals and families experiencing a financial crisis due to an unexpected drop in their income. Each food parcel should provide enough food for three meals a day for 7 days......and this is where we need your help!
We are asking for food donations that will support the S20 Food Bank. Just one item donated by each family in school will help to restock supply and allow the volunteers who work at the food bank to continue the amazing work that they do in providing people with the essential items they need due to situations out of their control.
This Friday (2nd October) - children are invited to come to school in non-uniform in exchange for bringing an item for the Food Bank
The list of example items below will give you a good idea of what is needed and hopefully make it easier to decide what you might be able to donate:
Cereal
Tinned Veg
Rice pudding
Potatoes
Sugar
Toiletries - toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper
Soup
Custard
Squash/ juice
Biscuits
Tinned fruit
Tinned fish
Pasta/ spaghetti
Pasta sauce
Tea/ coffee
Rice
Beans
Donations will be collected from school on Friday 2nd October so please send any items into school by this date.
Thank you for your continued support.
