Y1/2 Visit to the National Emergency Service Museum- 14th October 2026
Dear Parents/Carers,
This term, in history lessons, we are studying The Great Fire of London. To enrich our learning, on Wednesday 14th October 2026, we will be visiting the National Emergency Service Museum in Sheffield.
The cost of this visit will be £20.48. This covers the museum tickets, a guided workshop and transport. Please pay all monies via ParentPay by Friday 25th September. If you need to pay by cash, please collect a barcoded letter from the school office so that you can pay at one of the local Paypoints. As usual if sufficient voluntary contributions are not received, this visit will have to be cancelled.
It will be a full day trip so children will need to be in school to leave at 9am and will be back in school in time for the end of the day. School uniform will need to be worn and children will need to bring a packed lunch and wear sensible shoes.
If you have any questions regarding the visit, please do not hesitate to ask a member of our team.
Many thanks,
The Year 1 and 2 team.
