Dear Parents of Year 6 children,

Subject: Online safety concern

I am writing to let you know that yesterday some Year 6 children were filmed without their consent and the recording was subsequently shared on Snapchat last night. We became aware of this matter promptly and are taking action to remove the content; we are in the process of deleting it and working to ensure it is no longer accessible.

We take incidents involving pupils’ privacy and online safety very seriously. If you have any concerns or would like further information, please speak to Mrs Dunn or myself. We are happy to discuss the steps we are taking and to offer guidance on supporting your child with online safety.
