BLUE PETER BOOK BADGE

Well - I for one never knew about this! I absolutely love it at school when children come and tell me about a recent book they have read or ask if we have a certain book in school.  So who knew that reading could help your child get free or reduced cost access to lots of museums, parks, zoos, castles and so much more, with a full-fee paying adult?

To earn this badge all you need to do is tell Blue Peter about a book you've enjoyed reading recently and draw a character or scene from the book. They'd also love to hear about any books that have sparked your imagination.

So, what are you waiting for? Pick up a book, explore the school library, or become a member of your local library and you could be on your way to earning your very own Book badge!

Use the link below to find out more. Other badges are also available....but I love this one!
