Year 3/4 - Visit to Sheffield City and Sheffield Cathedral – 21st and 22nd April
Dear Parent/Carer,
As part of their geography learning around Sheffield, Y3/4 children will be visiting Sheffield City Centre to complete a workshop within the cathedral about why it is important to the city of Sheffield, with some observations of the architecture around the city.
Y3/4 classes will visit on the following dates:
- Mrs Knutsen- Red Base- 21st April
- Mrs Wormleighton- White Base- 22nd April
On each date, we will be leaving school at 9:30am. Throughout their time, they will be visiting the Cathedral and doing an architectural trail of some of the Sheffield. The children will be back in school before the end of the school day. Your child will need a packed lunch, drink, a waterproof coat and sensible shoes.
The cost of the trip is £11.87 per person. Please make payments and give consent for your child to go on this trip using Parentpay. If you need to pay by cash, please collect a barcoded letter and a permission slip from the school office ASAP so that you can pay at one of the local Paypoints. As usual if sufficient voluntary contributions are not received by 13th April this visit will be cancelled.
If your child is entitled to free school meals and would like to order a school packed lunch, please indicate on ParentPay by 13th April.
If you have any questions regarding the visit, please do not hesitate to ask a member of our team.
Yours faithfully,
Y3/4 Team
