Parliament Week 6 - 10th November
WHAT IS UK PARLIAMENT WEEK?
UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is an annual event, spreading the word about what Parliament is, what it does and how children can get involved. During the week children are informed about UK Parliament, take action and make an impact on the issues they care about.
Along with a huge number of Parliament activities in class, we also held a Parliament day in the school hall which was led by our Y6 Executive Committee. Children spent time engaged in various tasks from designing a new clock for the Elizabeth Tower in London to working out the laws...according to the teachers!
