The Year 3/4 children had a wonderful time being Vikings for the day recently at the award winning Murton Park near York.
The children dressed up, explored Viking homes and learned all about what it was like to live all those years ago. On Friday the 11th March the Year 6 children have the opportunity to be involved in a unique festival at Westfield School – ‘An Outdoor and Adventurous Experience’. The children will be taking part in three exciting different activities: orienteering, problem solving and climbing.
The event will run from 11:00am – 12:30pm, so your children will be registered at Reignhead as normal and will return to school in the afternoon. Your child will need to bring their outdoor PE kit to school and a packed lunch and drink. If your child is entitled to free school meals and would like a packed lunch to be provided by the school, please indicate on the permission slip.
