If so, it is likely that your child will have taken the key stage 2 national curriculum tests1 (also known as SATs) in maths, reading and grammar, punctuation and spelling. In addition to the tests, your child’s teacher will have made a judgement about what they have achieved in maths, reading, writing and science across the school year.
Your child’s school will send you a report before the end of the summer term, setting out the test results, the teacher assessment judgements and an overall view of how well your child has done this year. It will also give you other information which will help you support your child as they move into secondary school.
