Huge congratulations to all our Young Artists who had their work displayed at Sheffield Town Hall over the weekend. We're so very proud of you all!
A huge thank you to PC Bob who visited our Year 6 children this week to talk about how to keep safe.
There was lots of lively discussion about keeping safe in school, in the wider community and online.
The Family of Schools Torch Relay was an amazing event!
The relay lasted a whole day and gave each school in the family the opportunity to cheer on the Olympic Torch as it made its way back to Westfield School.
At Reignhead, the children put on a wonderful welcoming display of karate, dance, basketball, samba drums, banners and bunting and as ever there was also an incredible turn out by parents and carers.
We certainly impressed the judges who voted us the winning school and kindly donated £100 of sports vouchers to us. A special mention goes to Alfie in Year 6 who won the 'Design a Torch' competition - well done Alfie!
The main school will be OPEN as usual on Thursday 5th May.
All children in Reception and Y1 – Y6 are expected to attend school as normal. Nursery is CLOSED all day. The Polling Station will be located in nursery (orange base) and can be accessed via the main front gate only between 7:00am and 10:00pm
CONGRATULATIONS to the Hughes family (Y5) who completed a Parent Questionnaire, winning the draw for a £25 Asda gift voucher.
We would like to say a big thank you to all of the parents and carers who completed the survey. Your views are really important to us.
You can still complete a survey on-line at https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk
An Olympic Torch Relay will be taking place across the Family of Schools on Friday 6th May.
As part of this event, each school will be holding a mini celebration as the Torch arrives. At Reignhead, we would like to invite parents into school at 2:45pm to see some of the activities that we will be showing off on our KS2 yard, such as dancing, karate and other sports.
Please note that all visitors are asked to use the main entrance as no other gates will be open at 2:45pm.
Children from Foundation through to Year 6 will be on the yard, along with Olympic athlete Nicola Minichello, enjoying the activities also. At 3:05 all children will go back to their classrooms to then leave as normal at the end of the day.
